The Metaverse boss, Mark Zuckerberg, has been playing with one of its Meta platforms, Whatsapp, by dishing out some interesting tweaks to it. Security was tightened on the app to prevent cyber scams, and then Whatsapp reactions were added. Now, the latest WhatsApp update has increased the groups member limit.
Increasing the groups member limit means larger groups can be accommodated on WhatsApp. It has been increased from 256 to 512 members. This latest WhatsApp update was first spotted on the beta program but it’s finally available on the live app.
This “accommodating” feature is available on both Android and iOS as well as desktop computers. This increased group member limit will help manage groups effectively without having to create multiple groups because, on account of updating WhatsApp, users will get a whopping 512 group member limit.

Webetainfo spotted this feature and it should be available for every user, however, if it hasn’t gotten to your device, make sure your Whatsapp is updated and then be patient for at least 24 hours. An editing feature was also suspected by sources to make its way to Whatsapp via some beta versions but this hasn’t been confirmed and should be taken with a pinch of salt.
