Xiaomi has taken the Android 11 update rollout seriously, with over 10 phones expected to receive the update very soon. Earlier today, the company announced it has suspended the MIUI 12 closed beta test for some phones, which are about to adopt the latest Android OS. And surprisingly, both Redmi Note 8 and Note 8 Pro that started internal testing for the update a couple of weeks ago were on the list.
Also, among the Xiaomi phones to receive Android 11 updates are Redmi K30S Ultra, Xiaomi Mi 9 SE, Mi 9 Pro, Redmi K20 Pro, Mi CC9, Mi CC9 Meitu, and MI 9. Technically, with the Redmi K30S Ultra and Redmi K20 Pro on the list, it means the Mi 10T, Mi 10T Pro, and Mi 9T Pro are also going to receive the Android 11 update soon as well. It’s because the Redmi K20 Pro is the Chinese version of the Mi 9T Pro, while Redmi K30S Ultra is the same phone as Mi 10T/Pro.
We also expect the POCO X3 and Mi A3 to receive the Android 11 update soon. The former was recently spotted on Geekbench and Google Console running Android 11, which means the update could arrive anytime. As for the Mi A3, the device is currently having an open test for the update, and once that stage is completed, the stable ROM users are going to receive a new Android OS update.
