Some couple of days ago, Xiaomi rolled out a security patch update to Mi A3, which came back with an error message when users running Android 10 tried downloading the update. It turned out it was for Android Pie users. Now, the company starts rolling out a March security patch update to Mi A2 Lite, and again, it’s for units still on Android Pie, another underwhelming update for those waiting on a fix for the buggy Android 10 update.
Xiaomi promised to release a fix for their buggy Android 10 update last month, but once again, they failed. Even Mi A3 users are also complaining about the lack of updates, but it seems Xiaomi is now focusing on Android 9 users.
Maybe the company has abandoned the Android 10 program for its Android one phones. Nevertheless, we keep waiting, and we will update you once there is any development.

For now, if you’re running Android Pie, Xiaomi is sending a March security patch update to Mi A2 Lite, and should arrive on your phone very soon. Users from Bangladesh, Hungary already got the update, and have confirmed it’s safe.
The build only comes with an Android security patch for March and nothing else. It’s a 79.29MB package, which also says a lot about the content.
At this time, the only Mi A2 Lite units that can download the new update are the ones yet to upgrade to Android 10. The update is safe and only improves your device security. You should scan for a new update if you haven’t got a prompt notification for the update, and don’t forget to leave feedback for us via the comment box after updating.
Meanwhile, you can follow us on Twitter or Facebook to get notified when the device starts getting the Android 10 update again.
