After Xiaomi released the MIUI 12 based Android 11 update for the Mi 10T/Pro in India last week, we expected other regions to get the update as well. The update has now arrived in Europe, where it has been released for a limited number of users. As usual, they’ll preview the build, and if at the end, no performance-threatening bug is found, the public will then start receiving the update.
Meanwhile, the update comes as MIUI 12.1.2.0 RJDEUXM and weighs in at 2.8GB. It brings along the Android security patch for January 2021 to improve system security. Also, some minor bugs have been fixed while the performance of the system has improved. However, given that the latest update is the first MIUI 12-based Android 11 update for the Mi 10T/Pro, you might experience some lags and glitches. That normal as it would take the system some time to adjust, but you can speed things up with a factory reset.
Note: you only perform a factory reset if the system performance is below par after installing the update. Otherwise, keep using your device as there won’t be a need for a factory reset. Also, before resetting the device, make sure you backup all your data to a safe location.
For the global ROM users, the update isn’t released in that region yet. We expect it to start seeding in the coming days, though. You can stay updated with our Android 11 update tracker page and get notified when the update starts rolling. Meanwhile, if you’re running the EEA ROM, follow the links below and download the update.
