Few hours after the Mi 10 Lite in Europe started receiving MIUI 12 based Android 11 update, Xiaomi has released the same update for the POCO F2 Pro. It’s the second time the device is receiving the update. And maybe more of the device users will finally get a notification for the update. For now, though, the new Android 11 update for POCO F2 is on a limited rollout and will only arrive for a few selected users.
The update is available for both the global and EEA users, which comes alongside the December security patch and other features. For Global users, the update will arrive as MIUI 12.2.3.0 RJKMIXM and for EEA users, as MIUI 12.2.3.0 RJKEUXM. It’s a 2.9GB package, but with a different changelog.
As per the changelog of the new Android 11 update for POCO F2 Pro, the global users are getting a stable MIUI based on Android 11. The package also includes the December patch, new camera features, and optimization. For the EEA users, the changelog says only a December security patch and improved system security. Nevertheless, if the current release is your first Android 11 build, then you are getting all the new camera functions and more.
To scan for the update, head to System Updates (updater app), or follow the download link below. However, you might experience some lag after upgrading, and that’s because some apps haven’t adapted to the new OS. To optimize performance and fix any bug after the upgrade, you should backup your data and then perform a factory reset.
