A new European POCO X3 NFC update supposedly fix the random reboots

POCO X3 NFC

It has only been two days since a stable update started rolling out for the European POCO X3 NFC units. The update is yet to make it to all phones, and now, it looks like it has been rolled back. That’s far the update could go, but it seems a new update is now rolling out for the same device in that same region again. However, it seems the update will only make it to selected users as Xiaomi looks to confirm if the random reboots of the POCO X3 NFC have been fixed.

After the first Android 11 build, some users of the POCO X3 NFC complained of random reboot, which started after they upgraded to Android 11. While there’s a way to fix the issue temporarily, it looks like Xiaomi is fixing it for everyone via an OTA. However, going by the screenshot posted on the POCO X3 telegram channel, the new update might make it to a handful of devices. The reason being that Xiaomi wants to verify the random reboots, perhaps see if the issue has been resolved. Probably, the update will arrive for the public much later, but that’s if no bug is detected.

That said, it would be better to wait for the new European POCO X3 NFC update to arrive via OTA since it’s a “test” build. And should it arrive, the update will come as MIUI 12.0.7.0 RJGEUXM in a 198MB package. It comes along with the April 2021 patch to increase system security and stability. Below are the changes:
