Samsung has yet to start rolling out the One UI 7 beta update, which is based on Android 15. Google and other OEMs have already released the latest OS to some of their eligible phones, while Samsung is still preparing for the beta preview. The latest report hints at an imminent release, as a new Galaxy S24 One UI 7 beta build has been spotted on the server.
We know Samsung will release the stable One UI 7 alongside the Galaxy S25. But we expect older phones to preview the update before it starts rolling out to the public even though testing has been going on internally. Unfortunately, there is no definite release date, given the many rumors about the possible rollout time, but it’s increasingly likely we will see the update soon.
What does a new Galaxy S24 One UI 7 beta build mean for a possible release?
Samsung will definitely start the rollout with the Galaxy S24 series phones. Currently, only three devices (Galaxy S24, S24 Plus, S24 Ultra) have their One UI 7 beta builds on the server, and with a new one spotted, we anticipate the rollout to start anytime soon.
There are some rumors about a possible November 22 release date, which is tomorrow. Given the recent changes, we will not be surprised if the update starts rolling out tomorrow. Also, with the stable release expected in January and Google already working on Android 16, it’s probably time for Samsung to wrap up the Android 15 development.
