Samsung Galaxy 25, Galaxy S25+, and Galaxy S25 Ultra received their first software update last week. The rollout started in Korea before expanding to the US and some part of Europe, with those in Asia, including India, having to wait. As expected, the rollout is now available for those in India, but it’s a staged rollout.

In India, the new Galaxy S25 update comes in a 666.08 MB package with version number S93xBXXU1AYB4. It brings the latest security patch to enhance security while optimizing performance and resolving bugs. However, it might take some days before the OTA reaches your phone.
Like every new phone, a software update is released to address issues and optimize performance. This is the case with the latest update, and we recommend installing it if you are having any sort of issues with your Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, or Galaxy S25 Ultra.
How to download the new Galaxy S25 update in India
Installing an update on a Samsung phone is the same procedure, at least for OTA builds. Head to Settings>>System update>>Download and install. Follow the screen prompts to download it and reboot your device to complete the installation.
