Xiaomi is rolling out a new Android 14-based HyperOS update to the 13T users globally. The latest release is probably to address issues reported by early adopters of the much-anticipated upgrade. However, it’s a limited rollout exclusive to Mi Pilots members, but we expect more users to get the update soon.
After the Android 14-based HyperOS release, reports started surfacing. These reports are issues faced by Xiaomi 13T users who upgraded to HyperOS. They reported issues like the Art frame not working properly, and adding Leica Professional Watermarks, brings up an error. Also, some people experience a black screen after unlocking their phone with a fingerprint. While the new global Xiaomi 13T stable update changelog doesn’t include a fix for these issues, we believe you should download and install it.
According to the latest report, the update is more smooth compared to OS1.0.1.0.UMFMIXM. It seems to have addressed the black screen issue after fingerprint unlock. Unfortunately, that’s the only fix we can confirm at the time of this post, but we believe it addressed some other issues you might be experiencing.
Meanwhile, the update is rolling out with a version number OS1.0.2.0.UMFMIXM. It brings the January 2024 patch to increase system security and stability. Also, some bugs reported after the initial release have been resolved, and we recommend you install the update.
