A few days ago, Xiaomi released an update for the Mi 10T and Mi 10T pro users in Europe. The update arrived only for a few selected users with a version number, MIUI 12.0.16.0 QJDEUXM. It never arrived for the public, which is probably due to a bug, and according to a recent report, a new Mi 10T/Pro update is currently seeding in Europe. There’s also a new update available for the Mi 10 users in China and bumps the security patch level.
The new Mi 10 update is limited to the Chinese users and comes with a version number, MIUI 12.2.8.0 RJBCNXM. It is available only for some selected users that’ll test the build for bugs. If no performance threatening bug is found inside the build, we expect the public rollout to start seeding in the next few days. Of course, it’s based on Android 11 and bumps the security patch level to December 2020.
The Mi 10T/Pro is also receiving an update that bumps the security patch to December 2021. However, it’s sans Android 11 but improved system security and should fix the proximity sensor issue for you. It improved stability as well, which is probably the reason the last build was called back. But as usual, only a few users are receiving the update for now, and we expect a wider rollout this time.
Nevertheless, you can download the recovery and OTA ROM for the new Mi 10T/Pro update and Mi 10 via the links below. However, it might return an error message, and in that situation, you should give it some days and try again.
