The stable Android 12 has been around for a few weeks now, but only Pixel phones have received the stable build. Other OEMs are currently testing the update, and Xiaomi is among the few that hope to start public rollout before next year. With the recent development, the company might start pushing the stable Android 12 update to the public in the coming weeks. That’s because they’ve just released a new stable Android 12 update for the Xiaomi Mi 11.
It’s exactly one month since the stable Android 12 update for the Xiaomi Mi 11 was released globally. The update brought the features of the new Android OS, although some of them are hard to spot because of MIUI. However, there have been some improvements, especially the security and stability of the system. Unfortunately, it’s difficult to say all the changes as bugs seem to have taken the spotlight.
After Xiaomi rolled out the stable Android 12 update for the Xiaomi Mi 11, there were reports of bugs. According to some, their phones won’t turn on after upgrading. While not everyone faced that issue, Xiaomi is now rolling out a new stable build. The current build has supposedly addressed issues like that while improving performance and stability.
It’s a stable beta release, meaning the rollout is limited to Mi Pilots. The update is arriving with a version number – MIUI 12.5.3.0 RKBMIXM. According to the changelog, it’s a performance improvement build, and of course, to address issues encountered by early adopters. Hopefully, the public rollout will commence in the coming weeks.
Nevertheless, you can use the link below this post and download the ROM manually. We don’t recommend that, but if you wish to continue, we won’t be responsible for any damage. However, make sure to backup your data before installing the update.
