Xiaomi has already rolled out Android 11 to the POCO X3 (NFC), but for some reason, they haven’t completed the rollout yet. Perhaps, they believe the update isn’t stable enough to extend the rollout as there were complaints about the first release. The update caused random reboots, lags, and some battery drains. However, that has been fixed in the latest build that arrived for the global users, and we were expecting the Android 11 update to start rolling out in India. Unfortunately, Xiaomi could only push a new stable POCO X3 update, meaning the much-anticipated Android 11 build isn’t ready for public rollout.
Of course, each major Android or MIUI rollout first goes for internal testing. After the build is confirmed stable, Stable Beta testers will get it for extra preview. And after a successful preview, the public rollout starts. As things stand now, the Android 11 update for POCO X3 is still on internal testing, and hence, the new stable POCO X3 update. We recommend that you download and install the update, which will believe fortifies the device ahead of the major upgrade.
The new update has a version number, MIUI 12.0.10.0 QJGINXM. It comes in a 676MB package, which is big for a security patch build. That means the update brings some features and changes not on the log. It has improved system performance, fixed bugs, and fortifies the POCO X3 ahead of the planned Android 11 upgrade. Unfortunately, we don’t know when Xiaomi plans to start the rollout, but you can stay updated following our tracker page.
