Redmi 8A Dual, Redmi 9, Redmi 9A, and Redmi 9C are getting a new stable update

Xiaomi is now sending a new update to the Redmi 8A Dual, Redmi 9, Redmi 9A, and the Redmi 9C. Out of the four phones receiving a new stable update, only the Redmi 8A dual is yet to start receiving a stable MIUI 12 update. It seems the update is not ready, and as such, the company is rolling out a stable MIUI 11 build, which brings the November security patch.

The stable Redmi 8A dual update is arriving with a version number, MIUI 11.0.3.0 QCQINXM, and will progressively arrive on all devices in the next few days. And looking at the version number, it’s for the Indian users, but we expect other regions to start getting the update soon. As for the stable Redmi 9 update, unfortunately, it’s a stable MIUI 11 update for the Turkish branch of MIUI. The stable MIUI 12 update is available for the global users, but for whatever reason, Xiaomi is rolling out a MIUI 11 update to the Turkish ROM users. The update, however, is a full release and should arrive on your device soon, or you can download the recovery ROM below. It brings new camera functions: watermarks and fullscreen mode.

The Redmi 9A is receiving a new stable MIUI 12 update, which brings the latest Android security patch. It optimized the system and also improved security. The update will arrive on your device as MIUI 12.0.8.0 QCDMIXM if you’re running the global ROM.

Also receiving a stable update is the Redmi 9C units in Turkey. The update comes with a version number, MIUI 12.0.3.0 QCRTRXM, and is arriving for everyone. It comes with the October security patch, improved system security, and fixed some bugs.
