Xiaomi is all set to start rolling out the next iteration of its MIUI Android skin. From the MIUI 12.5 rollout schedule, premium phones will get the update from next month. To make sure the transition is smooth, developers are rolling out a new update to eligible phones. They recently released a new stable update for the Redmi 9A, which brings the latest security patch and improved system security and stability.
The update is live in multiple regions and should arrive on all eligible units in a couple of days. That’s because it’s a limited rollout and would arrive for few selected users. Perhaps, those selected from the just concluded Stable beta recruitment program. Nevertheless, you’ll receive the new stable update for the Redmi 9A even if you’re not on the list. But note that the update won’t arrive until the next couple of days.
And for those running the global ROM, the update comes with a version number – MIUI 12.0.11.0 QCDMIXM – while the EEA units get a stable MIUI 12.0.11.0 QCDEUXM build. The update is also live in Turkey and Indonesia, and as expected, it has a different version number. It comes as MIUI 12.0.4.0 QCDTRXM and MIUI 12.0.6.0 QCDIDXM, respectively. You should be able to download and install the build via the updater app or use the links below.
