Samsung has been dishing out updates to tons of Galaxy devices within the space of two months. During these two months, Galaxy devices have gotten the exclusive Android 12-based OneUI 4.1 update, the Galaxy Watch 4 update which adds ECG functions as well as a health app to the wearable and now a new update for Galaxy Buds 2 is now available for download. Quite generous from the Korean tech giant, one would say.
The wireless earbuds, Galaxy Buds 2 are getting a new firmware update and it seems this new update for Galaxy Buds 2 is just a minor release. Nevertheless, it’s still promising enhanced overall stability and security.
Details of this new update for Galaxy Buds 2
The update packs a little storage of about 3MB and bears firmware version R177XXU0AVE1. While the new update for Galaxy Buds 2 is officially available in South Korea, we hope it will reach other markets gradually. According to the Samsung official changelog tracker, the new update doesn’t introduce any new features to the Galaxy Buds 2, however, as said earlier it should include security and stability enhancements.
Before the new update for Galaxy Buds 2 rolled out now, the wearable had the update which brought in a 360 audio feature months ago. That said, it isn’t as fantastic as one would expect, but we could get an improvement on the feature in future updates.
