Google is no longer the first to release the latest security patch update anymore. Samsung is leading in that front, but Pixel phones still get the update on time and simultaneously, unlike Galaxy phones.
Google releases new security patch updates to all eligible Pixel phones simultaneously, unlike other smartphone makers. Hence, with the latest November 2024 security patch update rolling out, supported phones have all gotten the update. However, if you are still waiting for a notification, you can manually check for it.
The update is rolling out with version number AP3A.241105.007 and weighs 37.72 MB on the Pixel 7 Pro. There are 44 security issues that resolved the November 2024 security patch update, with 21 on the patch dated 2024-11-01 and 23 for 2024-11-05. They range from high to critical. CVE-2024-43047 (Kernel) and (CVE-2024-43093) Elevation of privilege “may be under limited, targeted exploitation.”
There are additional three security fixes for Google devices in the dedicated bulletin. Below you can see all the bugs resolved with the latest update. Use the following key to interpret the changelog.
