Those devices that are part of Xiaomi’s Android one program keep getting timely security patch update. A couple of days ago, the Mi A2 Lite started receiving the monthly security fix, and now, the October security patch update for Xiaomi Mi A2 has also been released.
The update has a version number, V11.0.15.0 QDIMIXM. It’s for the global users, and we expect other regions to start getting the update in the coming days. As usual, it brings the monthly security fix, improved system security, and performance while fixing some bugs. In reality, the update didn’t do much to those underlying bugs that were introduced with the Android 10 update, but luckily, it didn’t introduce a new one.
It’s no news again about the buggy Android One updates that have been released in the past. That’s probably why most people are now skeptical when it comes to downloading Android One updates, but unlike the previous ones, this one is safe to download.
