Samsung has announced the official One UI 7 release plan. Starting in April, the stable Android 15-based One UI 7 will begin rolling out for select devices. Surprisingly, phones that just started the beta preview will receive the much-anticipated upgrade.
Details of Samsung One UI 7 release plan
Samsung has now announced the official One UI 7 release plan. The South Korean company will start rolling out stable Android 15 to eligible phones from April 7. One would expect the rollout to begin with the Galaxy S24 series. While that is true, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6, which started beta testing earlier this month will get that update simultaneously.
After the first wave, the update is expected to arrive for 2023 flagship phones. These include the Galaxy S23 series, Galaxy Z Fold 3, Galaxy Z Flip 3, Galaxy S23 FE, Galaxy Tab S10 series and Galaxy Tab S9 series. Of course, the update is not limited to these handsets, but they are the first that will receive it.

Surprised that your device is not on the list? That’s because only the devices on the first wave have been announced. Other eligible Android 15 phones will likely get the update in May. Hopefully, Samsung will update the list to include these phones when it’s time.
Meanwhile, more phones will join the beta program in the coming days. Galaxy A55 is expected to receive a beat build soon, the only A-series phone confirmed to participate in the preview. Hopefully, there won’t be any last-minute bugs that will delay the release.
