Xiaomi has officially announced the MIUI 13 Custom Android skin. It promises to bring more improvement and stability to the system as the new iteration of MIUI didn’t see many changes. The company has made improvements to its privacy features, introduced new wallpapers, fonts, and new widgets. Interestingly, the official Xiaomi MIUI 13 release plan has been released, giving us an insight on when the stable build will start seeding.
According to the official Xiaomi MIUI 13 release plan, the stable version will start seeding towards January end. The newly Released Xiaomi 12 series phones will get the update next month, meaning the devices won’t run the build outside of the box. That contradicts early reports from Xiaomi suggesting that its flagship phones will run MIUI 13 outside of the box.
The Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra, Mi 11 Pro, and Mi 11 will also get the stable MIUI 13 update in January. Hence, only six Xiaomi phones will get the update in the coming weeks, and we expect a staged rollout once again. It means stable beta testers will receive the update before the public release. Below is the complete list of Xiaomi phones to receive MIUI 13 on the first release. Second and third batch of models will be released on a later date.

Of course, the list is for the Chinese stable release. We expect the global release in February, but that’s if there won’t special event to unveil the update globally. We doubt as MIUI 13 doesn’t introduce new features. It’s more of improvement and stability of the MIUI that the current build brings.
