Recently, Samsung users started reporting the Green Line issues on their devices. The problem has been affecting some Galaxy phones, and so far, the only way to resolve it is by replacing the affected panel. Unfortunately, Samsung has refused to take responsibility, but the company is changing its stand, offering one-time free screen replacement to select users.
The Samsung phone green line issue is a hardware problem, but surprisingly, it keeps happening. The issue started after using the device for a couple of years with the Galaxy S21 series, reporting the issue after it was reported by the Galaxy S20 series last year. The company refused to take responsibility, especially if your device is out of warranty.
However, that’s changing as Samsung India has offered a one-time free screen replacement for affected users. Interestingly, your device doesn’t have to be under warranty before you are qualified for the replacement, but there are some terms and conditions.
One-time free screen replacement for Samsung Galaxy phone users
Your device must have no physical or water damage to qualify for the Samsung One-time free screen replacement. Also, your device must be one of these units: Galaxy S20, Galaxy S20 Plus, Galaxy S20 Ultra, Galaxy Note 20, Galaxy Note 20 Ultra, Galaxy S21 (SM-G991B), Galaxy S21 Plus (SM-G996B), Galaxy S22 Ultra (SM-G998B), and the Galaxy S22 Ultra (SM-G908B).
Only Samsung phones within three years of purchase are eligible for this offer, and you must take the device to a service center before April 30, 2024. So far, only Samsung India has announced this, and we hope others will follow shortly.
