Samsung started rolling out One UI 6.1.1 to Galaxy S24 in Europe and India

Samsung has already released the One UI 6.1.1 update to the Galaxy S24 series in China and the US. The update is now available to those in Europe and India, but it’s a staged rollout, meaning that not all units are getting the update.

The latest release is a major upgrade, as it weighs 2.8 GB. Such updates are released in batches, starting with a small group to get their feedback before expanding to more people. Thus far, we haven’t seen any major software issues since the One UI 6.1.1 update started rolling out, and perhaps the rollout will be swift.

Those already getting the update in Europe are receiving it with a firmware version S926BXXU3AXH7. Instead of the September 2024 security patch, the Android security patch remains in August. We expect another update after the current release with the latest security patch.

Meanwhile, Samsung has introduced some AI features with the One UI 6.1.1 update. There are a few additions to the camera, bug fixes, and system improvements. You can check out the complete changelog here. We recommend installing the update when prompted, or you can trigger it.
