Samsung One UI 7 beta has had many release dates, but all seems to be only a rumor. No one, even moderators in the Samsung community, seems to know when the beta builds will be released. However, it seems Samsung might start testing the Android 15-based One UI 7 beta update after the next Android OS arrives for stable users.
Google recently released Android 15 beta 4, the last scheduled beta build. It was followed by Beta 4.1 and Beta 4.2, believed to be the final beta releases. That makes sense since the tech company will soon seed the Android 15 QPR1 beta build. We will probably see stable Android 15 next month if things go as planned, and this is likely when the Samsung One UI 7 beta release is leaning towards.
One would expect Samsung to have started the One UI 7 public beta. Of course, the next iteration of One UI will be based on Android 15. We were hoping the rollout would start this month, but that’s looking unlikely. With One UI 6.1.1 yet to begin rolling out, a new report suggests One UI 7 beta has been pushed to September.
Unfortunately, the reported September release date is not guaranteed, but more likely. Samsung is said to have delayed the One UI 6.1.1 update, and that affected the planned release of the One UI 7 beta. In addition, the company seems to be resolving some bugs on the latter, according to recent reports.
When the update starts rolling out, we expect it to be available in the US, China, Korea, Germany, Poland, India, and the UK. It will likely arrive for the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6, given they are both running the latest One UI build. The Galaxy S24 series will receive the update in the same time frame. Hopefully, the update starts seeding next month.
