Google released the Android 15 beta update to eligible users a few days ago, meaning the public and not just developers can access the build. Samsung, meanwhile, is yet to announce its plans for the beta testing, which will be based on One UI 7, but it seems the company has started testing internally.
Before any build is made public, it goes through tests, with the first testing starting internally. As expected, Samsung developers are testing the One UI 7 build internally. However, it doesn’t mean the public beta is imminent, as we might wait until August to see the first release.
Google will release Android 15 stable update in September or October, meaning eligible Samsung phones will probably get the update towards the year-end. The company will start the Android 15-based One UI 7 public test when the build reaches platform stability.
Only the Galaxy S24 One UI 7 internal build has been spotted on the server, though we expect build for others devices to be in development. It means the device will first receive the update when it’s ready, but we still have months to wait. You can follow our social media platforms to know when the public release starts.
