A few hours ago, Samsung released its official One UI 7 release plan. Unfortunately, the release date does not apply to all countries. Those in Asia might wait for the stable One UI 7 update, but not for too long.

Samsung will begin rolling out the Android 15-based One UI 7 update in April. While you might expect all eligible devices to receive the update at the same time, that won’t be the case. The rollout will follow a staggered schedule, with each region getting the update at different times. Asia is expected to be the last to receive it.
On April 7, 2025, stable One UI 7 will start seeding in Europe for the Galaxy S24 series, Galaxy Z Fold 6, and Galaxy Z Flip 6. A few days later, the upgrade will arrive in the US. Starting on April 14, the Android 15-based One UI 7 update will land in Asia, and that includes Asia.
Samsung Malaysia has announced the release plan for the Asia region, confirming that the Android 15-based One UI 7 update will roll out in stages. Hopefully, there won’t be any last-minute bugs causing delays, as users have already been waiting a long time for the upgrade.
Devices to release One UI 7 update in Asia
The list is long, but only a handful of phones will get the update on the first wave of the rollout. These include Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24 Plus, Galaxy S24 Ultra, GalYZ Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip. Of course, other devices will receive the upgrade, but that might start in May 2025.
Meanwhile, if Samsung has not announced the release plans in your region, expect the update from April 7 to April 14. Of course, only if you won any of the devices listed above. Other users should wait for the upgrade in May.
