In the last few days, Samsung has released the One UI 7 stable update to many phones. It does not seem the company is following its release schedule. That could be so they can focus on the next iteration of Android OS, arriving with One UI 8. There have been a few reports, and now, we have seen the first One UI 8 beta for the Galaxy S25 on the company’s server.

Samsung might have taken time to release the stable One UI 7 update, but it is something that won’t happen again. With the speed at which the company is rolling out the update, they will complete the rollout in the coming weeks to focus on One UI 8, which the beta build has just been seen on the server.
Details of the One UI 8 beta for the Galaxy S25
We are still weeks from the possible One UI 8 beta release, but developers have been testing the build. It seems the build has become stable enough for a public beta release, unfortunately, we do not know when Samsung plans to start the preview. Nevertheless, it will not be like One UI 7, as we expect a release by next month.
Google will release stable Android 16 to Pixel phones next month, and it’s possible Samsung will start a beta preview after that. The Galaxy S25 series will start the beta preview, followed by the Galaxy S24 and the current Foldables.
Meanwhile, the One UI 8 beta for the Galaxy 25 seen on the servers has a firmware version S938BXXU3ZYEA. This will probably change before the arrival, which is still weeks away since the company has not said anything about a possible release yet.
