The Android 13 has had an interesting timeline and with every release, unique features were introduced. That said, it’s conventional for different phone brands to combine their stock Android with Android 13 to give something sleek(speaking of the likes of OneUI 5, ColorOS 13, OxygenOS 13 and MIUI 13). Well, we have another OxygenOS 13 rolling out – the OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro Android 13 update is now available.
The OnePlus 10 series had already received the update, the same as the OnePlus 10T. For the OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro Android 13 update, the users on the open beta program received the update already a couple of weeks ago.
According to sources, those that aren’t in the open beta program should have started receiving the OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro Android 13 update right around this period. However, if you haven’t received the update, you should be patient as the rollout is a gradual process.

Via the OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro Android 13 update, we should be getting the sleek Aquamorphic design and the Always On Display as well as tweaks to the Sidebar Toolbox, Dolby Atmos and Spatial Audio support, Bluetooth earphones and headphones audio switching, Nearby Share, Android 13 security enhancements, App streaming, and finally Private Safe 2.0, a virtual safe that can secure personal data while preventing access from other apps – there are still some other changes under the hood.
