Phone brands are already combining the stock Android 13 with their software to create something amazing and aesthetic. Samsung had come up with their OneUI 5 based on Android 13 and now Oppo has announced Android 13-based ColorOS 13.
Details of the Android 13-based ColorOS 13
The Android 13-based ColorOS 13 pre-released beta phase will be available in the coming weeks for the Oppo Find X5 Pro and the Find N series foldable. What makes the sole part of the ColorOS 13 is the Aquamorphic design. There have been some tweaks to the animations alongside an aesthetic feel, somewhat like a “changing color of light between sunlight and sunset at sea level”.
The layout with the Android 13-based ColorOS 13 is more organized with round corners on icons and simpler color choices. All come together to give harmony between the visual elements and the card-style design. Fonts aren’t left out of the enhancements as they are tweaked to improve readability.
Not to forget the Material You elements which are a function of your wallpaper. It is also interesting to note that the Android 13-based ColorOS 13 allows the AMOLED display on the Find X5 to stay on a 1HZ refresh rate while using AOD( Always on Display)thereby saving power up to 30 percent.
Smartphone users with a liking for avatar creation will like the “Omoji” feature and then there’s a “new expanded folder option” enabling users to easily access apps while reducing the number of app icons taking up space plus a feature boosting seamless interconnection.
The Android 13-based ColorOS 13 is scheduled to arrive on over 35 Oppo smartphones in 60 countries spanning a total of about 160 million people before the end of 2022. That said, the update is currently available for the Find X5 series with the update getting to more devices before 2023.
