Xiaomi continues to deliver the stable MIUI 13 update to the eligible device, with the company expected to finalize the rollout in the coming days. The third batch of phones to receive the update has been released, and it seems to be the last, as the company set sight on the next iteration of MIUI. However, it might take a few weeks to complete the deployment as some phones on the list are having problems adapting to stable MIUI 13.
The current batch of devices to receive the MIUI 13 update has the Redmi 9, Redmi 10X 4G, and Redmi Note 9 4G. However, according to one of Xiaomi’s executives, these phones might wait till August before adapting to stable MIUI 13.There are some undisclosed problems with the devices, but we expect Xiaomi to address them and hopefully upgrade the device.
Nevertheless, MIUI 13 might arrive on these phones before August if the company fixes the problem on time. But it becomes difficult to say if the global models of these phones will get the upgrade. Recall the issue with Redmi 7 during the adoption of MIUI 12, which arrived on the Chinese models but didn’t make it to the global variants. We hope things take a different turn this time, and hopefully, Global models of the phones having issues adapting to stable MIUI 13 get the upgrade as well.
