The latest of the Google Pixel Watch is the Google Pixel Watch users complaining of the alarm going off late, unfortunately. While you can’t but admit that a wearable is a good timekeeper even with alarms, it’s quite sad that the Google Pixel watch users are experiencing this issue.
What are the Google Pixel Watch users complaining about with the alarms?
The most prevalent issue is that alarms on the Pixel Watch, which is powered by Google’s Clock app, go off later than they should. The delay ranged from one minute to slightly under ten minutes, with fewer users reporting alarms triggering a few minutes ahead of time. This does not appear to be a recurring or daily issue, but rather arises out of nowhere.
One thing these alarms tend to have in common is that they are used to wake up in the morning. As a result, the Pixel Watch was previously in Bedtime Mode and/or inactive mode. The issue might be caused by the device being in deep sleep.
Based on the timeline of reporting, this problem does not appear to be tied to any single software upgrade. Although an individual’s experience within 9to5google doesn’t relate to the issue. According to him, having utilized a Fitbit of some form to wake up (vibrate just, no sound, and Bedtime Mode turned off) for the last decade or so, Pixel Watch alarms have been late twice since launch, with the greatest delay being eight minutes when getting up in the morning.
The alarm is constantly triggered, but he has had no problems throughout the day when the watch is turned on (always-on display, etc). He has never experienced this problem with a Fitbit tracker before. Oh well, we hope Google tracks whatever the Google Pixel Watch users are complaining about with the alarm and attend to it.
