It’s been weeks since beta recruitment was organized for the Poco F1, alongside the Redmi Note 8 Pro and Redmi Note 7. Out of the three phones, it’s only the Note 8 Pro that has received a stable MIUI 12 update globally. The Indian users also started receiving a beta stable ROM today, and that should complete the update for all regions. Meanwhile, There’s still no news as to when to expect the update on Redmi Note 7, and for the POCO F1, it seems the update will be arriving this week.
According to reports, the POCO F1 MIUI 12 Beta testers have been selected, which is the first stage before a major update is released for the global users. And now that users for the beta test have been selected, we expect the update to start arriving anytime this week.
It’s important to note that only the Mi Pilot – users who were recruited during the beta enrollment – that’ll first receive the update. They’ll receive, at least, two beta stable updates, but that’s only if the process remains the same with what we witnessed during the first page of the MIUI 12 rollout.
After the beta stable updates, the stable version of the update will be released for the general public. And given the previous experience, it usually takes one to two weeks for the update to start seeding. Nevertheless, if there happens to be a change in the process, we’ll make sure to update this post. You should turn our notification on in that regard.
