All attention is now on the recently released Xiaomi MIUI 13 Android skin. The latest iteration of MIUI debuted on December 28, 2021, alongside the Xiaomi 12 series phones. The phones run the build outside of the box, but it has since gotten to a handful of phones in China. It’s currently exclusive to the region, but the global release is likely to start in the coming weeks. Xiaomi has scheduled a launch event on January 26, and we expect the global unveiling of MIUI 13. It looks like the POCO F2 Pro Android 12-based MIUI 13 update will arrive shortly after the unveiling.
More Xiaomi phones are expected to pick the stable MIUI 13 and Android 12 in the coming days. The Xiaomi Mi 10 series and the Redmi K30 Pro are next on the line for the update. Both phones have their public beta build released, meaning the public rollout is just a matter of time. That’s a piece of good news for the POCO F2 Pro users, as they could start getting the update shortly after the Chinese release.
Unfortunately, it’s unclear when Redmi K30 Pro will start pushing the stable MIUI 13 update. However, we expect the rollout soon since the public beta build is live. As for the POCO F2 Pro Android 12-based MIUI 13 update, that could happen after the global unveiling. Xiaomi is expected to release the update on January 26 during the Redmi Note 11 series launch event.
That said, we expect to see the rollout plan after the unveiling and hopefully know for sure when the POCO F2 Android 12-based MIUI 13 update will be released. However, if you have a TWRP Recovery with Android 12 support, you can flash the Redmi K30 Pro MIUI 13 build. You can download the ROM from here.
