With Xiaomi expected to present the MIUI 13 in the coming weeks, the company has intensified the deployment of the current version of MIUI. The update is on the second phase, having arrived on the Redmi 9T and Redmi Note 9T 5G. It means the first phase was a success, and now, devices in different regions can start getting the update.
Xiaomi started the deployment of Enhanced Edition of MIUI 12.5 in China before taking to international models. It recently announced the second phase of the rollout, which is already underway. And while the Redmi K30 Pro, rebadged POCO F2 Pro, received the update weeks ago, the latter just got the much-anticipated update.
The POCO F2 Pro Enhanced Edition of MIUI 12.5 is currently seeding for the Indonesian variants. It comes with a version number – MIUI 12.5.2.0 RJKIDXM – and weighs 836MB. As expected, it has introduced the features of the new build – Atomized Memory, Liquid Storage, Focused Algorithm, and Smart Balance. According to Xiaomi, these features supposedly improve performance and promise more life between charges.
Aside from introducing the aforementioned features, the POCO F2 Pro Enhanced Edition of MIUI 12.5 has bumped the Android security patch level to October 2021. Also, it addressed multiple bugs while improving performance.
Meanwhile, only limited users are currently getting the update for preview. That’ll last for a couple of days after which the public will start getting the build. However, we have provided a link to download the ROM if you’re running the Indonesian ROM. For global users, the update will arrive in the coming days.
