A new POCO F4 GT MIUI 14 update now available in Europe. Download below…
Only those in China and a few in Europe have received the stable MIUI 14 update. The latest iteration of MIUI officially arrived a couple of weeks ago, with only the Xiaomi 12 Lite running it globally. Of course, that changes with the release of the POCO F4 GT MIUI 14 update, making it the first POCO phone to get the much-anticipated upgrade.
Xiaomi is expected to present the MIUI 14 build globally during the Xiaomi 13 series unveiling, but that hasn’t stopped the rollout. Perhaps, the company plans to start public deployment after the presentation, as only limited users are getting the update currently.
Meanwhile, POCO F4 GT users can check for the update via the updater app. It brings the photon engine, which uses less memory while maintaining fast and responsive operations over an extended period.
The update also enabled the Super Icons to give your Home Screen a new look, although you need to update the theme app and home-screen for it to work. Also, searching in settings is more advanced, while the Android security patch is bumped to December 2022.
Those devices yet to upgrade to Android 13 can now upgrade their device to the latest Android OS. Interestingly, there haven’t been issues of lags or glitches, so we recommend installing the update.
