The Android 15-based HyperOS 2 update has been rolling out for some time now, but it doesn’t seem swift enough for POCO phones. POCO F6 Pro is supposed to be among the first devices to receive the new upgrade, but it only just getting the build exclusive to a select few.
POCO F6 Pro Android 15-based HyperOS 2 update is rolling out with version number OS2.0.2.0. VNKMIXM. It comes with all the expected features except those exclusive to Chinese users, but there have been some improvements. Thanks to the Xiaomi HyperCore, you will notice enhanced performance, and with the HyperConnect, you can transfer data with iOS devices.
Aside from the new features, the update bumped the Android security patch level to December 2024 to increase security. Also, the Android version is now 15, with all the new additions and improvements. Unfortunately, only a few people are installing the update, as it is limited to Mi Pilot members.
How to download the POCO F6 Pro Android 15-based HyperOS 2 update
Xiaomi is rolling out the update in batches. Hence, only select users are getting the upgrade via the updater app, and the Recovery ROM is yet to appear on the server. We recommend checking the OTA via the updater app or wait for the company to upload the ROM to the server or start a public release.
