Xiaomi raised eyebrows when they released Android 11 based on MIUI 12 to the POCO M2 Pro while the vanilla version received the upgrade with stable MIUI 12.5. It turns out the company wanted to upgrade the device to Enhanced Edition, and hence, skipping the MIUI 12.5 build. That seems to be the case as the phone starts receiving the Enhanced Edition of MIUI 12.5. As usual, the update is a limited release and will be available to the public after the beta preview.
The POCO M2 Pro Enhanced Edition of MIUI 12.5, of course, is based on Android 11. It has a version number – MIUI 12.5.2.0 RJPINXM – and weighs in at 819MB. According to the update log, it comes with all the expected features. It has supposedly improved performance and promises more life between charges. These features include Focused Algorithm, Atomized Memory, Liquid Storage, and Smart Balance. Aside from these features, the update has addressed some issues and optimized performance.
Supposedly, the POCO M2 Pro Enhanced Edition of MIUI 12.5, has addressed some issues affecting the device users. According to reports, the battery backup has improved while performance is better and animation more smooth. However, only a few people are getting the update at the moment, and hopefully, the public will get the update in the coming days.
Nevertheless, for those that wish you install manually, we have added a link below this post, and you can download the ROM via the link. That might return an error, and when that happens, you should give it time and try the installation again.
