POCO X3 GT becomes the latest smartphone from the Xiaomi sub-brand, POCO, to get the stable MIUI 13 update. The update arrived on the POCO F3 a couple of days ago before making its way to the POCO X3 Pro users globally. It’s the turn of the POCO X3 GT as the update is released for the device users in Indonesia, but as usual, the rollout is exclusive to Mi Pilots.
POCO officially teased MIUI 13 for its device during the unveiling of POCO M4 Pro and POCO X4 Pro. The duo runs the latest iteration of MIUI outside of the box, signaling the deployment to eligible phones. As expected, the update has since started rolling out with the POCO X3 GT the latest to get the much-anticipated upgrade.
The update is seeding with a version number – MIUI 13.0.1.0 SKPIDXM and weighs 3.2GB. From the version number, it’s based on Android 12, while the Android security patch level has been bumped to February 2022 to increase system security. Also, the stable MIUI 13 update has improved system performance and stability while introducing some features. The build has added new Widgets, Sidebar, Wallpapers and revamped the Control Center. Interestingly, you can open apps as floating windows from the sidebar while there has been enhanced accessibility support for Phone, Clock, and Weather.
Again, the POCO X3 GT MIUI 13 stable update is a limited release, exclusive to those in Indonesia. We anticipate the Global and European release in the coming days/weeks. Meanwhile, if you’re running the Indonesian ROM, you can check for the new update via the updater app or use the links below.
