Redmi sub-brand, POCO, launched the X3 NFC a couple of months ago, running Android 10 on top of MIUI 12 skin. That makes the device eligible for the Android 11 update, which is currently being tested internally. After the internal test, the next phase is the open beta test, after which the update is going to start arriving for everyone. And according to the latest report, it seems POCO X3 NFC Android 11 update is now in open beta stage of testing, which means the stable rollout is imminent.
The device has been spotted on Geekbench running Android 11. Also, on Google Play Console, it shows that the device is going to start receiving the Android 11 update very soon. It’s important to note that the version seen running Android 11 is not the Indian POCO X3, and hence, the European and Global models are likely to adopt a new operating system first.
Unfortunately, we don’t know the time frame as to when the POCO X3 NFC Android 11 update is going to start seeding. It’s also not every time that Xiaomi comments on issues like this, and so, we have got to wait till the update starts rolling out. We’re also going to be on the lookout for new information as regards the update and will update this space once we do. You can also follow our Android 11 update tracker to know when your device receives the update.
