[Update: August 25] POCO X3 NFC Android 12 update arrives with MIUI 13 globally

The much-anticipated POCO X3 NFC Android 12 update has been released. It’s seeding with a stable MIUI 13 but exclusive to global users. Only a few users will receive the update to preview it for bugs before the public rollout starts.

It’s been months of anticipation, and that’s over for global users. POCO is now distributing the Android 12-based MIUI 13 update with a few optimizations. The update is seeding with a version number MIUI 13.0.1.0 SJGMIXM and weighs 2.7GB. 

According to the changelog, the POCO X3 NFC Android 12 update brings a stable MIUI based on Android 12, July 2022 security patch to increase system security and stability. There are few new features and optimizations, but we aren’t ruling out bugs, hence, we recommend backing up your data before installation.

Meanwhile, it’s unclear when POCO plans to extend the rollout to India and other markets, but that should be in the coming days if there’s no major bug detected by Mi Pilots. And if you’re running the global ROM, you can use the link below and download the update.

The POCO X3 Android 12 update is now available in India. Those in that region are receiving a stable MIUI 13.0.1.0 SJGINXM in a 2.7GB package. You can download the ROM here.
