Xiaomi users are reporting poor video quality and apps force-closing after a recent update. The issue affects users of the Redmi Note 11 NFC and Redmi 9, respectively.
The Redmi Note 11 NFC users are still waiting for an upgrade to Android 12, while Redmi 9 users are still on MIUI 12.5. Both devices received a new update a couple of days ago, and it seems to have introduced some bugs.
According to the MIUI weekly bug report, the latest MIUI 13.0.2.0 RGKIDXM that arrived for the Redmi Note 11 NFC made the video quality poor. Unfortunately, the company didn’t say much about the poor video quality but promised to analyze the problem. That’s also the case of apps force-closing on the Redmi 9. However, we understand the issue is exclusive to users running the MIUI 12.5.6.0 RGCMXAT. The ROM version is for Mexicans, and it seems the bug is affecting that build only.
When will Xiaomi fix the poor video quality and apps force-closing
At the time of this writing, Xiaomi only acknowledged these bugs and promised to analyze them. They’re likely to release an automatic update to address it or a new stable update. Nevertheless, you can check the source link or keep tabs on this page to know when a fix is available.
