Download the latest Redmi 10X 4G / Note 9 Android 11 update…
The latest Xiaomi phone to start receiving the Android 11 update is the Redmi 10X 4G. It’s the same device as the Redmi Note 9, and as such, we expect the Android 11 update for the Redmi Note 9 to start seeding anytime from now. Naturally, all major updates, are first rolled out for Chinese users, and that is what happened with the current update. Hence, if you’re using the Redmi Note 9, you should exercise patience as the update will be coming very soon.
Meanwhile, the Redmi 10X/Note 9 Android 11 update is currently on a limited rollout. What that means is that only a few selected users will receive the update for preview. And pending the outcome of the preview, the public might start receiving the update in the coming days. It will arrive as MIUI 12.0.2.0 RJOCNXM via OTA. The update will arrive with a stable MIUI based on Android 11 alongside the January 2021 security patch to improve system security and stability. Of course, chat bubbles, smart home, and other Android 11 features will also be part of the build.
And because the update is tagged Beta Stable, you should back up your data before installation. For those waiting for the update, you can check for it – Settings>>>About Phone >>>MIUI 12 (click) for a manual scan. If the update is yet to arrive, make use of the link below and download the ROM. However, note that the Redmi 10X 4G/Note 9 Android 11 update is a cross-section Android upgrade, and might cause experience lags and glitches. When that happens, you should perform a factory reset to boost the device performance and remember to backup your data first.
