Xiaomi continues to upgrade its devices to Android 12 while making plans for Android 13. Unfortunately, not all the devices upgrading to Android 12 will get a new OS, which is the case for the Redmi 10X 4G / Redmi Note 9. The device is currently receiving a stable MIUI 13 and Android 12 upgrade in China.
Redmi 10X 4G, known as Redmi Note 9 in the international market, debuted pre-installed with Android 10. It has since received the Android 11 update and now receiving Android 12, which brings an end to its OS support.
The Redmi 10X 4G / Redmi Note 9 MIUI 13 update is seeding with a version number MIUI 13.0.1.0 SJOCNXM and weighs 3.6GB. Arriving with the update are exclusive Chinese features, which include enhanced security, Mi Sans Font, customizable Mi AI, and more.
Of course, the package comes with a stable MIUI based on Android 12, while the Android security patch level has been bumped to June 2022 to increase security and stability. Also, there are system performance improvements and bug fixes.
