Last month, Xiaomi announced the Mi 10T series, which consists of three smartphones with the Mi 10T and Mi 10T Pro running Snapdragon 865 while the Mi 10T Lite runs Snapdragon 750G. The device, since after the global launch, has been in the news. It’s expected to arrive in China under the Redmi K30 series.
According to the latest report, the Redmi K30S will be debuting alongside a Pro variant, supposedly Redmi K30S Pro. The device is said to be the last Snapdragon 865 powered device the company will release this year, and it seems we are just few weeks from the official launch.
The supposed Redmi K30S and Redmi K30S Pro, according to Digital Chat Station, will debut towards the month-end. It’s now been speculated that the series will be unveiled on October 27, which is on a Tuesday. The reason being that Xiaomi has a tradition of holding a new product launch event on Tuesdays.
And while the company is yet to confirm the specs of the Redmi K30S and Redmi K30S Pro, TENNA has already revealed the full specs of the upcoming Redmi K30S and Redmi K30S Pro. We are expected to see a rebadge Mi 10T series, and hence, a flat LCD panel with an adaptive 144Hz refresh rate is among the device specs. The Redmi K30S Pro will feature a primary 108MP camera and additional two sensors: telephoto and macro shooters.
The Redmi K30S will feature a primary 64MP sensor and will be powered by a 5000mAh battery, with 33W fast charge support. As for pricing, the device is said to start at CNY 2,500 ($373). Of course, the price is based on speculation, but considering the affordable pricing of Redmi phones, the official price won’t be way too off from the one being speculated.
Nevertheless, we will still be on the lookout for additional information, and we’ll update this space once we do. We hope to learn about the official launch date and also the starting price for both models.
