Xiaomi has moved to the second phase of the HyperOS update, with phones not on the first wave receiving the update. That’s the case of the Redmi K50 Ultra/ Xiaomi 12T Pro HyperOS, but exclusive to those in China.
The Android 14-based HyperOS rollout is still far from completion, as only a few eligible phones have received the update. While we expect more phones to get the update in the coming weeks, Redmi K50 Ultra, the Chinese version of Xiaomi 12T Pro, has just started receiving the much-anticipated upgrade, but limited to beta testers.
The update is rolling out with a version number OS1.0.2.0.UFLCNXM weighs about 5GB. With the HyperOS comprehensive refactoring, device performance has been improved. The memory management engineer has been upgraded to free up more memory and make the usage more efficient. Also, the animation is now smoother, thanks to the new animation language, while intelligent network selection makes connectivity in poor network environments smooth.
Aside from introducing the HyperOS features, the update has bumped the Android security patch level to December 2023 to improve system security, and the OS version is now on Android 14. You can check for the OTA via the updater app or download using the link below.
