Xiaomi Redmi K70 Pro has officially arrived in China alongside the Redmi K70 and Redmi K70E. The trio features similar design, but as expected, the Pro variant is the more premium among the three. It runs the latest Qualcomm premium SoC while featuring more capable camera sensors compared to the other two.
The Redmi K70 Pro has a 6.67-inch 2K OLED panel co-designed by TCL. It refreshes at 120Hz and supports 12 bits of color. The panel can reach 4000nits of brightness, which is probably the highest on any smartphone. There’s an AI algorithm for upscaling select video games and apps to enhance users’ experience.
Under the hood, the device uses the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, the same processor on the Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Pro. It’s paired with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 1TB of UFS 4 storage. Of course, the storage is not expandable.
The primary camera is a 50MP sensor with OIS, paired with a 50MP telephoto lens with 2x optical zoom. There’s a 12MP Ultra-wide shooter, while the selfie camera is a single 16MP sensor.
Redmi K70 Pro has a 5000mAh battery that supports 120W fast charging. There’s a standalone P2 charging chip and a G1 battery management chip to optimize battery life and power management. Also, the device has a 5000 mm2 cooling area, including VC, which is 10% bigger than that of the Redmi K60.
Redmi K70 Pro pricing and availability
Redmi K70 Pro starts at CNY 3,299 ($465) for the base version (12/256GB), while the 16/256GB variant starts at CNY 3,599 ($505). There’s a 16/512GB option that starts at CNY 3,899 ($550) and a 24GB RAM and 1TB model for CNY 4,399 ($620).
