The Global variants of the Redmi Note 10 were the first to receive the stable MIUI 12.5 update. It was extended to the Indonesian variants and has now arrived in Turkey and Russian. Meanwhile, the European models are still waiting for the update, but that could soon change. Meanwhile, the Redmi Note 10 MIUI 12.5 in Russia and Turkey is on a limited rollout. For now, only selected users will receive the update for preview before it starts seeding for the public.
The preview phase gives time for Mi Pilots to preview the build and see if there’s a bug missed during internal testing. Usually, that will last for a couple of days, and the public will start getting the update. However, you can use the link below to download the update if you have an authorized Mi Beta account or TWRP recovery installed. Otherwise, you should be patient for the update to arrive via OTA in the coming days.
According to reports, the update has a version number – MIUI 12.5.1.0 RKGTRXM in Turkey and MIUI 12.5.1.0 RKGRUXM in Russia. Both came with the features of the new MIUI OS to improve system performance. It also bumped the Android security patch level to June 2021 to increase system security and stability. Although that’s outdated, it means Xiaomi has been testing the build since June. We expect a new update in the coming weeks with the latest security patch.
