Xiaomi is on course to release the stable Android 12 update before the year ends. For that reason, the company has been testing the build internally, while few phones have received the open beta build ( Stable beta). However, most of the devices testing the update are currently Chinese ROM, and the Redmi Note 10 Pro 5G / POCO X3 GT just joined the party.
The Redmi Note 10 Pro 5G is a reworked POCO X3 GT for the international market. It has been in internal testing for the latest Android OS, which is now available for closed beta testers in China. That’s probably the last phase of testing before the update will start hitting the stable ROM users. However, it’s going to take some time before the update arrives on global models, given the lengthy testing period.
Nevertheless, we expect the device to be among the first Xiaomi phones to receive the stable Android 12 update. Although there’s currently no ETA, we expect that build to arrive early next year. However, if you are part of the closed beta testers, you can check for that update via the updater app. Of course, it’s an OTA release, so it might take some time before hitting your device. Perhaps, you can use that link below to download the update.
And while flashing the Redmi Note 10 Pro 5G / POCO X3 GT Android 12 beta update, we advise you to backup your data. The update isn’t stable yet, and you’re likely to experience some lags and glitches. Also, some apps are yet to adapt to the new operating system and might require you to perform a factory reset.
Unfortunately, it will be difficult to install the Redmi Note 10 Pro 5G / POCO X3 GT Android 12 beta on global ROM via TWRP. That’s because there’s no official TWRP recovery that supports flashing Android 12. We won’t recommend flashing the update as that might brick your device.
