The Redmi Note 10 is the most consistent of the four Note series phones launched yesterday. It’s the same as the version launched in India, but the price might be different. The Redmi Note 10 price starts at INR 11,999 (~$161) in India, but in the global market, it will be priced starting at $199. However, the specs remain unchanged across all regions and the panel for the first time integrates an AMOLED display. Unfortunately, some features on the Pro model are missing, and we have discussed that blow.

Redmi Note 10 specs
The Redmi Note 10 has a decent design, which is identical across the board. It features a left-sided quad-camera sensor on a rectangular plate with the Redmi branding directly below. The phone has a side-mounted fingerprint integrated into the power button on the right frame, with a volume rocker coming just above. At the bottom are the USB-C port and stereo speaker grills, while the front panel measures 6.43-inches. It’s a dot-display and houses the front selfie camera, and is surrounded by thin bezels.
Redmi Note 10 display
The phone sports a 6.43-inch AMOLED display but misses a high refresh rate having it capped at 60Hz. The 1080 x 2400p resolution panel can reach 1100nits peak brightness under the protection of a Corning Gorilla Glass 3. Depending on your budget, the Redmi Note 10 with the Adreno 612 GPU will deliver decent details, as well as improve your on-screen experience during gaming and streaming videos.
Redmi Note 10 performance
Under the hood is a newly released Snapdragon 678 Octa-Core SoC. It’s the first device to run the processor, which has its highest cores clocked at 2.2GHz. Coupled with up to 6GB RAM, operations with the phone should be smooth, and you can multitask seamlessly. Outside-of-the-box, you get Android 11 on top of MIUI 12 while the company prepares to start rolling MIUI 12.5 very soon.
Redmi Note 10 camera
The camera department isn’t the best on the Redmi Note 10. If smartphone photography is your priority, you would be better-of with the Redmi Note 10 Pro Max /Pro. It features a primary 108MP shooter, while the vanilla version replaces that with a 48MP snapper. Accompanying the sensor is an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, 2MP depth, and 2MP macro sensors. The primary sensor supports shooting 4K@30fps, while the front-facing camera has a single 13MP shooter.
Redmi Note 10 battery and security
Powering the device is a beefy 5000mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging. It takes 74 minutes for a full charge and goes on to last for days. The fingerprint scanner is side-mounted and is integrated into the power button. Xiaomi has optimized the scanner to perform other functions aside from unlocking your device. Some of them include double-tapping to trigger voice assistance, silent mode, control center, and more.
Redmi Note 10 price and availability
The Redmi Note 10 price starts at $199 for the base 4/64GB memory option, while the 4/128GB option sets you back $229. The phone will be available through AliExpress starting next week.
