Redmi Note 10 becomes the latest device from the Xiaomi sub-brand to start receiving the stable MIUI 13 update. The device was among the few phones that received the upgrade when it arrived on international models, but it has taken till now to start seeding to the Indian models. It’s still a staged rollout, currently available for Mi Pilots.
The Redmi Note 10 stable MIUI 13 update in India is seeding with a version number – MIUI 13.0.1.0 SKGINXM. It comes in a 2.6GB package and has pushed the Android OS version to Android 12, while the patch level is on March 2022. There has been an introduction of new features, with the stand-out one, the Android 12 permission notification. When an app is accessing your microphone, camera, or location, a green indicator pops up on the top left side of the screen.
Also, the update has delivered new widgets, Sidebar, while that control center seems exclusive to select devices in China. However, you can enable the new control center via this link. Aside from the few changes, the new update didn’t bring many virtual changes, and it seems the device became slow after the upgrade. A factory reset might improve the speed, but we recommend backing up your files before attempting that.
Hopefully, the Redmi Note 10 stable MIUI 13 update in India gets to more users in the coming days. You can download and install the update via the links below. Note that the current build is a cross-section Android upgrade and is likely to contain bugs. We recommend backing up your files before proceeding.
