Redmi Note 10S started receiving a stable MIUI 13 update a couple of days ago. The rollout is exclusively for the global models, and it’s limited to Mi Pilots. Supposedly, the rollout will extend to more users, but considering the Redmi Note 10S stable MIUI 13 bugs, it might take time before the update gets to everyone.
Xiaomi received a lot of credit for the minimal bugs found on the MIUI 13, but the build isn’t entirely free from bugs. However, the company understands that and works with users to find these bugs. They publish weekly bug reports to highlight these issues and their status, with the Vol. 71 version seemingly all about the Redmi Note 10S stable MIUI 13 bugs.
Reported Redmi Note 10S stable MIUI 13 bugs;
From reports, some users are experiencing camera lag in AI mode. Unfortunately, Xiaomi didn’t say the cause of the problem, but they’ve released a temporary version of the AI library to a few users and are waiting for feedback. Hopefully, that solves the issue so other people can start receiving the stable MIUI 13 update.
Also, there’s a report about PUBG games not supporting extreme frame rate after update due to issues caused by the MTK patch. There’s a supposed modified GPU library being worked on to address the problem.
Redmi Note 10S users complain of distorted media sounds – a common bug for people running MIUI 13. Unfortunately, there’s no fix yet, as developers are still analyzing the issue.
Meanwhile, these problems are affecting the global version of the Redmi Note 10S (MIUI 13.0.2.0 SKLMIXM). It’s unlikely the update could extend to other regions, at least not until these bugs are fixed.
