Xiaomi has now released the Redmi Note 10S stable MIUI 13 update to the global users. The company has been testing the build for months, which we reported that’s ready to start rolling out a couple of days ago. As expected, the update has reached the global models but exclusive to Mi Pilots, with other regions to get the build in the coming days.
The Redmi Note 10S users have been waiting for the stable MIUI 13 update since the update arrived on the Redmi Note 10 and 10 Pro. That didn’t happen, until recently, when we discovered the build was ready for the global users. We knew it was a matter of time before Xiaomi started seeding it out to eligible users, and from reports, the global Redmi Note 10S stable MIUI 13 update has been released.
The update is seeding with a version number MIUI 13.0.2.0 SKLMIXM and weighs 2.9GB. It has bumped the Android OS to Android 12 and the Android patch level to April 2022. Supposedly, security and stability have improved, and new features introduced.
There are new widgets, sidebar, and new wallpapers. The MIUI 13 control center isn’t enabled with this update, but you can activate it via this link. Meanwhile, the Android 12 notification permission panel is part of this package with few other optimizations and bug fixes.
